Week 30.. 10 to go.. wow!

Ok, here I am with my little piece of  heaven taking me over!  :)  Baby boy is growing and growing and making himself comfortable inside of me.  At this point, I'm starting to have backaches and well, it's really the only "symptom" I've had since pregnancy.   Well, that and the fact that I'm always hot.  I guess the little heater inside of me is turned on to the fullest.  But I really don't like complaining much.  However, it does make it harder to work in an office and even to sleep.  One thing that helps is ZUMBA... haha.. being active has helped a lot with the sore muscles.. and I'm excited to say that I'm gettting close to the end.. Yay!

Ok, aqui estoy con mi pedacito de cielo que esta tomando campo dentro de mi!  Mi bebe esta creciendo y creciendo y acomodandose dentro de mi.  Ahorita, yo estoy empezando a tener dolores de espalda y bueno, es el unico "sintoma" que he tenido desde el embarazo.  Bueno, eso y el hecho de que estoy siempre con calor.  Y bueno el pequeno calentador dentro de mi esta prendido al maximo!  Bueno, no me gusta quejarme mucho.... Pero.. hace un poco dificil el trabajar en la oficina e incluso el dormir.  Una cosa que ayuda es la ZUMBA.. jaja... el ser activa me ha ayudado con los musculos adoloridos.... y ya estoy emocionada de decir que estoy acercandome al final!! Yay!

Week 28: Can I feel the baby move yet? You bet!

Well, my little baby moves as much as her momma moves on the Zumba floor.  I'm not lieing either.  However, he strategically doesn't move as much when he knows I'm videotaping.  So here are the couple of times I've been able to catch him moving...  I'll keep working at it.  Those were videos of about a couple of weeks ago... he is much bigger now and thus you can see the moves more clearly now.  It is getting uncomfortable, but hey! he lets me know he's doing well and ok... and hopefully time will go as fast as it's been going and I get to hold him and feel his moves (outside of me) soon!

  

Bueno, mi nene se mueve tanto como su mama se mueve en el piso de Zumba.  No les miento tampoco.  Pero el, estrategicamente no se mueve mucho cuando sabe que lo esto y filmando.  Asi que aqui hay un par de veces en las que he podido agarrarlo moviendose.... Seguire trabajando en eso.  Estos videos son de hace un par de semanas ... el es mucho mas grande ahora y pues se pueden ver los movimientos mas claros.  Se me esta haciendo un poco mas incomodo, pero hey! el me deja asi saber que esta bien ... y pues espero que el tiempo se pase tan rapido como hasta ahora y que lo pueda abrazar y sentir sus movimientos (fuera de mi) pronto!!!

Our little boy comes with his own ride....

So my kind and thoughtful husband thinks of things that I don't really think of until I have to.  Things such as, "Jeez... with our little one coming, it'll be hard for my wife to keep putting a baby car seat in and out of our small littlle white car.  It might not be that comfortable."  So this is our new addition.  It is a Ford Escape Hybrid 2005!  We did get to drive it to Utah last time we went and it was pretty comfortable, even for a 7-month pregnant woman. 

It has leather seats (which will be great from when baby - or I - spill something), it's spacious and will be really convenient for when our little boy is here due to how much higher the seats are than our old white little car.   In addition of the fact that it is a Hybrid and thus gives us awesome miles per gallon for being a SUV.  What can I say, I'm a happy camper :)  Oh, and mind me, I love the color of it!!! 

Bueno, mi querido y adorado esposito piensa en cosas que yo no pienso hasta que tengo que pensarlas.  Cosas como, "Wow... con el pequeno en camino, va a ser dificil para mi esposa el andar metiendo y sacando un asiento de ninio de nuestro pequeno carrito blanco.  No creo que sea muy comodo."  Entonces aqui esta nuestra nueva adicion.  Es un Ford Escape Hibrido del 2005!  Lo manejamos a Utah en nuestro ultime viaje y estuvo muy comodo, inclusive para una mujer embarazada de 7 meses. 

Tiene asientos de cuero (que van a ser geniales para cuando el bebe.. o yo.. derrame algo), es espacioso, y va a ser muy conveniente para cuando nuestro nene este aqui debido a sus asientos mas altos.  Y bueno, nos da espectacular millas por galon.  Que puedo decir, estoy feliz :)  Oh, y por cierto, me encanta el color!!!

Week 27 - Baby Shower in Utah!!!!

We are so thankful for our awesome family and friends in Utah!!!  Thank you Tina, Vicky, and Jennifer for organizing such an awesome baby shower.  Thank you for the delicious treats you made for the shower and for all of the time you invested on getting it ready.  Seeing a lot of my friends and family was such a treat!!!  Thank you for all the presents and for sharing such happy times with us!  We definitely appreciate it!!! 

Estamos muy agradecidos por nuestra maravillosa familia y amigos en Utah!!!  Gracias especiales a Tina, Vicky, y Jennifer en especial por organizar  un baby shower tan lindo.  Gracias por los bocaditos deliciosos y por todo el tiempo que invirtieron preparando el shower.  El ver a muchos de mis amigos y familias fue un gran regalo!!!  Gracias por todos los regalos y por compartir nuestros momentos felices con nosotros!!!  Definitivamente lo apreciamos!!

Week 26.. I know. I've been slacking!!!

Since Justin started taking some classes for his double master's, things have been pretty chaotic and the available time I used to invest updating the blog is basically gone.  However, I'm going to try to catch up... On June 25th, we got the chance to celebrate one of our good friend's wedding in Nebraska.  Lisa used to be our neighbor when we lived in Utah and she happens to be from here.  We attended her wedding two or so hours away from our home.  There was tons of dancing, great food, great company, and overall, a great opportunity for us to spend the night away.  

Desde que Justin empezo a tomar algunas classes para hacer una doble maestria, las cosas han estado un poquitin caoticas y el tiempo libre que solia tener para poner al dia el blog se desaparecio.  Pero aqui voy tratando de ponerme al dia...  El 25 de Junio, tuvimos la oportunidad de celebrar la boda de una de nuestras buenas amigas en Nebraska.  Lisa solia ser nuestra vecina cuando viviamos en Utah y ella es de aqui!  Fuimos a su boda que quedaba a como dos horas de nuestra casa.  Hubo mucho baile, comida deliciosa, gran compania, y sobretodo, una gran oportunidad de pasar una noche fuera.
